Payout methods & caveats
  • OnlyFans: Bank/ACH, wire (SWIFT), e-wallets (Paxum/Skrill). The 20% covers card processing. No PayPal or native crypto.
  • Fansly: Bank/ACH, Paxum, crypto, international wire. Minimum varies by method (≈$20 Paxum / $50 SEPA / $100 wire).
  • Fanvue: Bank transfer (ACH/SEPA/SWIFT). A promotional 15% rate (keep 85%) is offered to new creators; duration varies — verify.
  • LoyalFans: Bank transfer, Paxum. Subscription price capped at $50/mo. Lifetime 5% referral program.
  • ManyVids: ACH/direct deposit, Paxum, wire. Clip/vid sales keep 60% (40% cut); subscriptions, customs and store items keep 80%.
  • JustForFans: Bank, wire, e-wallets (Paxum), crypto. Up to 85% kept on non-subscription sales with platform exclusivity; processing can reduce the effective take.
  • Patreon: PayPal, Stripe/direct deposit (US), Payoneer (non-US). Adult limit: artistic nudity only, behind an 18+ paywall — explicit porn and sexual services are prohibited. 10% for pages started after Aug 2025 (legacy 5/8/12%); payment processing (~2.9% + $0.30) is extra.

Commission + processing only (checked October 2026). Thresholds and holds vary by method and region — verify on each platform. Taxes are separate.

In short

The Fee & Payout Comparison takes one amount and shows, for each creator platform, the fee deducted, what you actually receive, the minimum payout threshold, and the payout frequency and methods. Most adult platforms take 20% with a $20–$50 minimum; Patreon takes 10% plus processing but bars explicit content.

How to use the Fee & Payout Comparison

  1. 1Enter an amount. Type a gross amount you want to compare across platforms.
  2. 2Compare the fee and net. See the fee taken and what you receive on each platform, best-first.
  3. 3Check the thresholds. Look at the minimum payout and how often each platform pays out.
  4. 4Open the methods. Expand the methods and caveats to see payment options and holds per platform.

Fees are similar — payout logistics are not

On fees, the major adult platforms cluster tightly: a 20% cut is the norm, so this comparison is less about who is cheapest and more about the logistics of getting paid — how much you must accumulate before a payout, how often money lands, and which methods you can use.

Those differences matter more day to day than a point or two of commission.

  • Minimum payout ranges from $10 (Patreon) and $20 (OnlyFans, Fansly, Fanvue) up to $50 (LoyalFans, ManyVids, JustForFans). A higher minimum means your money is locked up longer if you earn modestly.
  • Frequency ranges from daily/on-request (OnlyFans) through weekly (ManyVids, Fanvue) to twice monthly (LoyalFans) and monthly (Patreon).
  • Holds. Earnings typically sit pending ~7 days as a chargeback buffer, and new accounts or certain regions can face longer holds (up to ~21–30 days).
  • Methods vary: bank/ACH is near-universal; e-wallets like Paxum and, on some platforms, crypto are common; PayPal is rare on adult platforms (Patreon being the main exception, and Patreon bars explicit content).

What the fee does and doesn’t cover

On OnlyFans, Fansly, Fanvue and LoyalFans the commission is processing-inclusive — the platform absorbs card fees inside its 20%, so the fee you see is close to the fee you pay.

Patreon is different: its 10% platform fee is on top of payment processing (~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction), so a page with many small pledges loses more to processing than the headline 10% suggests.

ManyVids and JustForFans can also see processing reduce the effective take depending on method and product mix.

None of these figures include tax, which you owe separately and is usually your biggest deduction, nor withdrawal/currency fees or any agency cut.

This tool compares what each platform takes, so you can choose on fees and payout terms; your final net depends on your tax situation.

Choosing on payout terms

If you are just starting and earning modestly, a low minimum and frequent payouts (OnlyFans' $20 and on-request, say) keep your cash flow healthy.

If you are higher-volume, the method matters more — faster e-wallets like Paxum settle quicker than ACH, and wire fees eat into large withdrawals. And if you sell a lot of individual clips, remember a platform's clip split (ManyVids' 60%) can outweigh its payout convenience.

Whatever you pick, confirm the billing descriptor and verify your identity early — all these platforms require government-ID/age verification, and sorting it out upfront avoids a held first payout. For the monthly/yearly take-home picture, use our Creator Earnings Calculator.

Accuracy and caveats

The commission rates here are well established, but the finer details — minimum payouts by method, hold lengths, and exactly which payment methods are available in your country — change and are partly drawn from third-party guides rather than first-party fee pages.

We verified these in October 2026; always confirm the current thresholds, methods and schedule in your own account settings before relying on them, as platforms adjust payout terms regularly and often without announcement.
