Pornpen AI Review 2026: Still Live at pornpen.art, Tag-Based and $15 Pro

If pornpen.ai fails to load, the problem is not your connection. On 6 October 2026 both Google and Cloudflare public DNS returned NXDOMAIN for pornpen.ai and www.pornpen.ai.

That means the name is no longer published in the .ai zone at all, so a browser cannot even find a server to ask.

The registry record explains why. According to the .ai registry’s public record for pornpen.ai, the domain was registered on 10 August 2022, expired on 10 August 2026, and now carries the statuses “server hold” and “redemption period”, last changed on 21 September 2026.

Under ICANN’s definitions, a domain on server hold is switched off in DNS, and one in redemption is held for 30 days; if the registrant does not restore it, it is purged five days later and becomes available for anyone to register.

Two practical consequences follow. Old bookmarks and links to pornpen.ai are dead, and pornpen.art’s pages say nothing about the change; no announcement turned up in the searches for this review.

And if pornpen.ai is released, a future site at that address could belong to someone else entirely, so do not assume a revived pornpen.ai is the original without checking who runs it.

A correction: an earlier version of this page treated Pornpen as discontinued, partly because the Internet Archive’s last capture of pornpen.ai is dated 31 January 2025. That conclusion was wrong.

The service kept running at a second address its operator had used since 2023, as the next section shows.

Several independent records tie pornpen.art to the original operator, so this rests on more than a similar name:

• Same company. pornpen.art’s Contact page names Free Journey LLC of Sheridan, Wyoming. The original pornpen.ai app named the same company on its contact screen (archived January 2025), and Free Journey LLC is the registrant on pornpen.ai’s registry record.
• Same app at the same address since 2023. The Internet Archive captured pornpen.art serving the Pornpen app as early as 27 April 2023, with the same Google Analytics ID as pornpen.ai, and kept capturing it through 2025 and 2026, most recently on 28 August 2026. The January 2025 pornpen.ai code already handled visitors who arrived at pornpen.art.
• Same backend. The “old site” that pornpen.art links to, archived.pornpen.art, is served from the original app’s Firebase project (named after “Dreampen”), and pornpen.art’s current sign-in code uses that same project. Only someone who controls that Firebase project can attach a domain to it.
• Same product details. Pro still costs $15 a month, billing still runs through Epoch, several feature descriptions match the original word for word, and the site still links to the operator’s sibling generator, Sexy.AI.

pornpen.art is also where the product is maintained. Its Terms were updated on 2 August 2026, the interface has been rebuilt, with “virtual friend” chat characters added, and the classic interface remains available at archived.pornpen.art for anyone who prefers it.

Search for Pornpen and you may land on pornpen.net, which titles itself “Pornpen AI — Free AI Porn Generator (No Limits, 2026)” and says in its FAQ that “Pornpen remains available through Pornpen.net”. The records point the other way:

• Registered separately. The .net registry record shows pornpen.net was registered on 20 September 2024 at a different registrar, behind a privacy service. Before that it was a parked domain listed for sale. pornpen.ai was still live at the time, so this was not a move by the original operator.
• Its buttons lead to Promptchan. On 6 October 2026, every generate button on pornpen.net pointed to a Promptchan link that sets a Promptchan affiliate cookie and then redirects to Promptchan’s own generator page. pornpen.net is, in effect, a WordPress landing page earning referrals for a different product, and the prompt-based workflow it describes, down to a “Tweak” tool, matches Promptchan rather than Pornpen’s tag-based generator.
• Its earlier links contradicted Pornpen’s rules. Archived versions from September 2024 and February 2025 linked from the menu to “Deepnude” and “undress” apps, tools that fabricate nude images of real people from photos. Pornpen’s own site bans deepfakes and accepts no uploads.

Nothing on pornpen.art or in the original app links to pornpen.net, and no record ties it to Free Journey LLC. Nor is there evidence that Promptchan runs the site; it appears only as the affiliate destination.

The practical rule: if you want Pornpen, use pornpen.art; if you want Promptchan, go to Promptchan’s own site; and never enter card details on a page whose name does not match the product it sends you to.

Pornpen went live in late August 2022, and TechCrunch described it days later as one of the first websites dedicated to AI porn generation.

Its founder, who posts as “Dreampen”, said at the time that they had “explicitly removed the ability to specify custom text to avoid harmful imagery from being generated”. That decision still defines the product.

• Tags instead of prompts. You build an image from preset tag categories such as body, ethnicity, hair, setting, clothing, view, action and style. The 2025 app offered separate women’s, men’s, anime and furry generators. No prompt writing is needed, but you are limited to the tags on offer.
• Editing without uploads. Inpainting changes selected parts of a generated image, and the site notes that image upload is not allowed. Pro adds uncropping, upscaling (up to 2048×2048 in the 2025 app; the current homepage advertises 4K), Smart Edit and Fix Details.
• Pro extras. SDXL-based “HD” generators, short GIFs, consistent characters across images, 3D posing, doodle-guided generation, private mode, no watermarks and commercial rights, per the Go Pro page.
• Search and chat. A searchable library the site puts at “50+ million images”, and “virtual friends” (two characters at present) who chat and, the site says, generate photos and videos on request.

The 2025 app listed models based on Stable Diffusion 1.5 and SDXL, and the current pages name nothing newer. No recent independent assessment of image quality was found, so this review makes no claim about output quality.

One note on likeness: by design there is no free-text box for typing a real person’s name, but a generic “celebrity” style tag existed at launch and was still in the 2025 app.

Prices on pornpen.art’s Go Pro page and homepage (6 October 2026) are in US dollars, “+tax, price varies by region”:

Pro has cost $15 a month since at least 2023, when Futurism reported that the project’s Patreon had nearly 7,000 paying members.

It is a flat subscription rather than a token system, but the current page describes a generation-time quota without saying how large it is. The site also sells 3-month and 1-year gift cards; their prices are not shown on the page.

Card payments run through Epoch, and pornpen.art sends billing questions to Epoch’s support site. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

The Terms say you cancel “through the respective billing portal”, and the 2025 app noted that you need your Epoch member ID and email to do it.

Refunds are not guaranteed: the Terms (updated 2 August 2026) say requests are considered “on a case-by-case basis” at the operator’s discretion.

If you subscribed through pornpen.ai and are still being charged, the subscription belongs to the same operator and did not end with the old domain; cancel it with the company that bills you (Epoch for current card plans, while some older ones ran through CCBill or Patreon).

Pornpen’s published safety approach rests on what users cannot do. According to its own pages, you cannot type a prompt or upload a photo, which closes the two usual routes to images of a specific real person.

The homepage adds that “deepfakes are not allowed here” and that AI filters detect and remove illegal content. Images can be flagged for review; the About page promises manual review within five days and says violating images are deleted.

The written policies are thinner:

• Age: 18+ by self-declaration in the Terms and an entry warning; no verification method is described.
• Privacy policy: last updated 23 August 2022. It covers sharing with service providers for analytics and contact and keeping data “as long as is necessary”, but says nothing about AI training on user content, encryption or where data is stored.
• Public by default: private mode is a Pro feature, so free-mode images can appear in public feeds.
• Deletion: the profile page offers self-serve account deletion that removes “all your generations, folders, saved tags, and subscription data”. In 2025 the app warned that public images were not deleted because they were not linked to accounts; the current page does not say whether that still applies.
• Accounts: sign-in is by email link or password; no two-factor option is documented.
• Record: Have I Been Pwned lists no breach for pornpen.ai or pornpen.art (checked 6 Oct 2026), and no regulator action or lawsuit turned up in searches for this review.

In short, the product’s design is more restrictive than most rivals’, while its written policies lag behind it and the operator discloses little beyond an LLC name and a Sheridan, Wyoming address.

If the tag-only approach feels limiting, these live generators reviewed on this site cover the main reasons people switch. One trade-off to know first: all of them accept free-text prompts, so none is as locked down against real-person content as Pornpen’s no-prompt, no-upload design.

If you valued Pornpen because it blocked misuse by design, weigh that before switching; if you mainly want more creative control, Promptchan AI or Seduced AI provide it.

On 6 October 2026 it drew on DNS lookups through Google and Cloudflare; the .ai, .art and .net registry records and ICANN’s status definitions; Internet Archive captures of pornpen.ai, pornpen.art and pornpen.net from 2022 to 2026, including the original app’s archived code; pornpen.art’s Terms, Privacy Policy, Contact, About and Go Pro pages; Have I Been Pwned and the App Store; and reporting by TechCrunch and Futurism.

No subscription was bought and the generator was not used, so feature and content scores rest on Pornpen’s own documentation and carry low confidence. Trustpilot and Reddit blocked automated access, so no user rating is cited.
