Starting a story is refreshingly plain.

You hit New Story, describe the scenario and characters in a box that caps at 4,000 characters, and the tool tells you up front what it will cost — a single story runs about two credits against your daily balance.

From there you are not stuck with the first draft: you can edit, regenerate or redirect the narrative, which is where the tool earns its keep, because a first pass is rarely the one you want.

SmutChat works the other way round — less "commission a story," more "talk it into existence." You can brainstorm plots, build character dossiers, or just roleplay, and the same credit meter applies.

One thing worth flagging for free users: the site warns that chat history is wiped after a couple of weeks unless you upgrade, so anything you want to keep needs saving or a paid plan.

We did not run the models ourselves, so we cannot vouch for prose quality, but the controls for steering it are all there and clearly laid out.

Everything runs on credits. Free accounts get six a day, refreshed daily, with no card required — enough to test the thing properly before paying.

Beyond that there are three tiers, with one wrinkle: the site charges in your local currency, so the exact number you see depends on where you are.

We were shown Indian rupees (₹499, ₹1,599 and ₹11,999 a month), which work out to roughly the US-dollar figures below; expect small differences by region.

A couple of things to watch. The annual toggle advertises "-29%" while the plan cards say "saving 17%" — the two do not match, so check the actual billed total before you commit.

And the fine print is strict: the terms spell out a blanket no-refund policy, credits are non-transferable and can expire, and subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel.

Payment, at least, is flexible. You can pay by card or UPI, or in cryptocurrency — Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT — with the site promising "no adult transaction on your bank statement."

For discretion that is genuinely useful. Just remember the discretion runs one way: once the money has moved, the terms say it is not coming back.

The privacy story here is better than you might expect from a site like this.

The policy, last updated September 2025, says data is encrypted in transit and at rest, that the company does not read your private stories, sell your data, or use your content for marketing without consent, and that you can delete your account and all private data yourself.

Stories stay private unless you choose to publish them, sign-in runs through Google, and the actual generation is handled by external AI APIs.

The problem is who is making those promises. Nowhere on the site — not the footer, not the terms, not the privacy policy — is there a registered company name, a jurisdiction, or a physical address.

It is just "AI Smut Writer" and a support inbox. For a service that stores your most private prompts and happily takes crypto, that anonymity cuts both ways: great for your discretion, poor for accountability.

The terms draw clear lines.

You must be 18 or older — self-attested, with no real age check — and the content rules prohibit anything involving minors, non-consensual acts such as rape or assault, extreme violence, illegal activity, hate speech, and real, identifiable people without their consent.

Break them and your account can be suspended or terminated.

That last rule deserves a second look, because it rubs against one of the tool's own features. The paid "Image Remixer" openly advertises the ability to "nudify" clothed photos and turn uploads into explicit variants.

The terms say that is only acceptable for a subject who has consented — but nothing technically stops a user from uploading someone else's photo, and there is no verification step.

It is the sharpest ethical edge here: the capability exists, and the responsibility is pushed entirely onto the person using it.

Our honest take is simple — keep everything to fictional characters, never upload a real person who has not agreed, and understand that doing otherwise is not just against the rules, it can be illegal.

AI Smut Writer makes the most sense if what you actually want is to write and direct explicit stories, with images and video as a bonus, and if a generous free tier matters more to you than a company you can look up.

If conversation is the real goal, a chat-first companion will feel more alive; if you mainly want pictures, a dedicated generator will go further.

Bottom line: as an uncensored writing tool with a usable free plan, AI Smut Writer delivers, and the move into images and video makes it more of an all-rounder than its name suggests.
