Why we exist

The adult platform space is flooded with affiliate-driven "reviews" that are really just ranked ads. Search for almost any cam site or AI companion app and the top results are pages where the platform paying the highest commission ranks #1 — full stop. That is not useful to anyone trying to make an informed decision.

We started FetishAura because we wanted the site we could never find ourselves: honest, in-depth reviews of adult platforms — based on hands-on testing of the major players and rigorous research on the rest — with a consistent scoring methodology and clear disclosure of our business model.

Our editorial standards

Every review on FetishAura follows the same process:

1. Test hands-on where we can. For the major platforms we sign up with a real account and pay for paid tiers. For smaller or newer platforms we may rely on rigorous research from public sources and creator reports, and we flag pricing as approximate. We never base a verdict on a press release.
2. Spend minimum 20 hours with the platform across at least two weeks. Many reviews reflect months of actual use.
3. Test the specific workflows that matter to the platform's core audience — creator tools for creator platforms, token value for cam sites, conversation memory for AI companions, and so on.
4. Score on five weighted criteria: Features, Pricing, Usability, Safety, and Content. The criteria and weights are fixed and published — see any review's rating box.
5. Publish the verdict honestly, including criticisms, even for platforms we have affiliate relationships with. No amount of commission changes our scoring.

Our business model

FetishAura is primarily supported by affiliate commissions. When you click through to a platform from one of our reviews and sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link on this site uses proper rel="nofollow sponsored" attributes, as required by search engine guidelines and FTC disclosure rules.

Critically: affiliate rates do not influence our rankings. Our top picks in every category are often not the platforms that pay us the highest commissions. You can verify this yourself by cross-referencing our rankings with publicly available affiliate rates.

We may add direct sponsorships, paid newsletter options, or premium subscriber content in the future. Any of these will be clearly marked, and will never influence editorial rankings.

Our reviews are based on hands-on use of the major platforms and careful research of the rest, and every review is editorially reviewed and fact-checked before publishing. Like any modern publisher, we use AI tools for research, drafting, and editing — never as a substitute for human judgment or honest disclosure.
