Creator Platform Review
Slushy Review 2026: Swipe Discovery, a Disputed 50/50 Split and No App
What Slushy's swipe feed does for discovery, why its fee is disputed between terms and press, and the missing app to note.

Quick Verdict
Very Good
Slushy is a real, venture-backed creator subscription platform run by Boink Technologies, Inc. of Miami, and it permits explicit adult content under documented consent and records rules.
It suits creators who want algorithmic discovery and can live with an unusual fee model: the creator terms state a 50/50 split of net receipts, while press coverage describes 100% on fans a creator brings and a cut on fans the platform delivers.
That conflict is the biggest weakness, and the payout minimum and schedule are not in the legal documents. It is a poor fit for anyone who wants a native app, a clear flat fee or crypto payouts, which no source confirms.

Slushy is a creator subscription and short-video platform for adult and non-adult creators, run by Boink Technologies, Inc., a Delaware company based in Miami. Fans browse a swipeable feed and pay for subscriptions, locked posts, tips and live sessions.
The decisive caveat is the fee: the creator terms state a 50% platform share, while press describes 100% on fans creators bring themselves. This Slushy review is research-based and rates it 7.4 out of 10.

What Slushy Is and Who Runs It
Slushy launched in 2022 as an invite-only creator platform and describes itself as a media platform for professional creators. Its feed is a TikTok-style scroll, and its pitch is algorithmic discovery for creators who have no following yet.
The operator is Boink Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation with a Miami mailing address in its member terms. Press reports a 2020 founding and, in June 2024, a $10.2 million seed round billed as the first venture funding for an adult content platform.
The same announcement reported about 1 million users and 10,000 creators for Q1 2024. These are company-reported figures, not independently verified.
The Fee and Payout Split, and Why Sources Disagree
The creator terms define the platform fee as 50% of Adjusted Net Receipts and creator earnings as 50%. Net receipts are the fan payment minus chargebacks, uncollectible revenue and third-party transaction fees.
The same clause contains a typo, calling the creator share "seventy five percent (50%)". So the figure is 50% in numerals and in the definitions, but the wording is inconsistent.
Press coverage from 2025 says something different: creators keep 100% of earnings from fans they bring, and Slushy takes a share only on fans its algorithm delivers. One search summary cited a 75/25 split, which no Slushy document we read confirms.
What This Means in Practice
- Treat 50% as the only figure written in the legal terms, and 100% on self-referred fans as a reported promotion that the terms do not spell out.
- The payout schedule, minimum and fees are not in the terms; they point to a Help Center that we could not read.
- Earnings can be withheld for suspected breaches, chargebacks or unlawful activity, and accounts inactive for 12 months without payout details can have earnings withheld.
Creators also earn referral income. A referred creator who becomes verified earns the referrer 5% of adjusted net receipts for 12 months (capped at $50,000), then 1% a year (capped at $10,000), paid around the first of each month.
Press adds a lifetime 10% on purchases by fans a creator introduced.
What Fans Pay and How Billing Works
Joining as a guest is free, with up to 10 teaser posts visible. Buying requires a member account and a Visa or Mastercard card; the billing help page says no other methods are processed.
Creators set subscription prices, and the terms show no fixed range. Prices can change once every 30 days with 3 to 7 days notice.
- Subscriptions auto-renew monthly; auto-renew must be turned off at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Locked posts, tips and paid messages are one-off payments.
- Live and one-to-one sessions are booked and paid per session.
- Fees: a $0.10 test charge validates cards, and an admin fee applies to purchases under $20.
The card statement descriptor is documented as "Slushy" followed by a phone number, which the page says may be omitted.
Refunds, Cancelling and Deleting an Account
The member terms say Slushy does not issue credits, refunds or cashback on purchased content, except where live content is cancelled by the creator. The billing page adds that subscriptions are non-refundable for the current period.
A separate policy gives UK members a 14-day cancellation right and defective-content remedies. It states that it applies only to UK-based members, not to US or Canada users.
Members can delete an account through the Privacy Rights Request Center. Cancel active subscriptions first, since access runs to the end of the paid period.
Discovery and Features Beyond Subscriptions
Discovery is the real difference from older platforms. The feed ranks creator content algorithmically, and a Perfect Match feature personalises it. Press says new creators can buy in-platform visibility from $50.
The company has also announced partnerships with AI tool providers for avatars and chatbots, and press described a live-streaming and crypto venture as in development.
No source we found confirms crypto payouts or a specific payout speed, so those claims from the old review are removed.
How well the feed converts for new creators is unverified. The only figures are company statements, such as some creators earning $10,000 to $30,000 a month, which are anecdotes rather than typical results.
Explicit Content, AI Content and Consent Rules
Slushy allows explicit content. Its creator terms define Adult Content as pornographic or arousal-intended material and require creators to provide 18 USC 2257 record-keeping information before publishing any of it.
Anyone depicted must give written consent through a Co-Creator Agreement, with identity and age verified. This covers AI-generated content that uses a real person's likeness.
The Acceptable Use Policy requires creators to disclose AI-generated content and bans deepfakes or non-consensual synthetic media of real people. Violations lead to removal, suspension or termination, and possible reports to law enforcement.
Verification, Privacy and Track Record
Creators must supply a government ID photo and agree to KYC checks and a sex offender registry check where applicable. A bank account and tax form are requested after approval.
Members must be 18 or the local age of legal consent and certify this when entering.
Two-factor authentication is recommended for creators but not required. Slushy says its card processor is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and uses 3-D Secure.
A search for breaches, lawsuits and regulator action found none. The June 2024 funding round is the main public milestone. The absence of reports is not proof of a clean record, and the privacy policy was not reviewed line by line.
Who It Fits, and the Alternatives
Slushy fits creators who want a discovery feed and accept a platform whose fee rules are explained partly in press rather than the contract. Fans get a browser-only experience with card-only billing.
Creators who want a documented flat split should compare Fansly, OnlyFans or Fanvue. For direct comparisons see Fansly vs Slushy and Slushy vs LoyalFans.
How This Review Was Researched
This review is based on documents and press checked in October 2026. We read Slushy's member terms, creator terms, acceptable use policy, billing page, referral page, start guide and co-creator agreement, plus funding coverage and trade press.
No account was created and no subscription was bought; nothing here comes from using the platform. Sub-scores therefore rest on documented features and third-party reporting, which means lower confidence than a tested review.
The Help Center holding payout schedules and minimums, and the standalone Payment Policy, could not be read, so those items are marked not stated.
