What Performers Actually Earn per Token
This is the number nobody advertises clearly: performers convert tokens at $0.05 each — Chaturbate’s official rate is 100 tokens = $5 (conversion guide). Because buyers pay a variable 8–11¢ a token (token pricing), the platform’s share is not a fixed 50% — it ranges from about 37.5% at 8¢ to roughly 55% at 11¢.
Work through the math: when you pay 10¢ for a token and tip it to a performer, the performer receives 5¢.
At that 10¢ price Chaturbate retains 5¢ — but because token prices range from about 8¢ to 11¢, its share is not a fixed 50%: it keeps roughly 3¢ (about 37.5%) at 8¢ and about 6¢ (roughly 55%) at 11¢.
